My Trip to the Hospital

SO, I had my first trip to the hospital. Mommy was worried because I seemed to be having a hard time breathing so she took me up to her old work. They took my pulse ox and it was only 85, which is really low (it should be 100). So they sent me to the ER. At the ER they took a chest xray and gave me some breathing treatments,

which helped but everytime I tried to sleep my oxygen levels would drop again. So, they took my blood and started an IV- it hurt pretty bad, but I tried to be brave for mommy.

Then they put me on oxygen. They decided I had to be admitted to a hospital so they called an ambulance to come get me. The ambulance ride was pretty cool, the guy had a red shirt on and that made me really happy!! The people at the hospital were so nice to me and mommy. I was there for two nights and three days, but they got me all better. When I got home I still had to do the breathing treatments for a few days.

It was pretty scary, but I feel much, much better now!!

The Newest With Me!!!

So, it's been awhile....

A lot of milestones have occurred since Christmas

I can sit up on my own now!!

Uncle Corey is teaching me high-five and I am doing really well...

February 16th I got my first tooth!! And I can't stop smiling!!

I have been starting to get really interested in books and I LOVE RED!

I also got a new toy from Aunt Lacy and I really love to play with it,

although sometimes I like to pretend I can't so mommy has to- tee hee!!

Most recently I have been really trying to crawl,

I roll and roll and roll and I push with my legs...

Christmas

Christmas was really special this year because it was my very first one! I got to spend time with my daddy in the morning and then I went to my cousin's house where we ate, opened presents, and played Rock Band on the Wii! Here I am in my Christmas outfit...

Here I am opening my very first presents ever! I really just wanted to eat the paper and play with the bows. I guess toys are cool too, but they aren't as crinkly and shiny!!

I also went for a ride on my blanket-- it was AWESOME!!

Trip to Chicago

I went on my very first plane ride this last weekend. It was SO awesome! I was so good that a pilot gave me a pair of wings to pin on my shirt!!

I went to Chicago to visit my Uncle Ian and Aunt Jackie!!

There was one traumatic moment of the trip....

when Mommy dressed me up in a reindeer outfit.

Uncle Ian tried to make me smile, but it didn't work...

I finally got happy when they made me a naked baby.

In fact, I laughed for the first time on camera!!

After that Uncle Ian gave me a surfing lesson....

As you can see, it was an AWESOME first trip!!
